Summer Fun!

This summer we had tons of fun! In June we took a trip to Chicago! My mom, sister Kendra, Malori, Brooklynn and I all flew to Chicago to see my sister Shari. The girls loved the plane ride and all the sights of a big city. Highlights from the trip include seeing the musical Mary Poppins, going to Shedd Acquarium, the Chicago Zoo and riding on a water taxi! Both girls hit the pool or backyard waterslide as often as they could. Malori played softball and competed in a Triathalon. We are very proud of her! We ended the summer with a family vacation to Table Rock Lake near Branson, MO. It was the best summer ever!

The girls had a lot of fun coloring Easter eggs at

their Great Grandma & Great Grandpa's house.

Malori's 8th Birthday

Malori is now 8 years old - very hard to believe! She had a Hannah Montana cake and received lots of Hannah Montana presents. However her favorite gift was her PINK scooter (and helmet of course!).

Christmas 2008

As you can see, the girls must have been "nice" this year!
Malori's favorite present from Santa was her Bratz dolls.
Brooklynn is now having lots of fun with her new Leapster.



Malori loves Hannah Montana and the girls received plenty of Hannah Montana items: Barbies, games, puzzles, playing cards, sticker book, umbrella...the list goes on and on! Brooklynn's theme this year was Baby dolls! She received 2 new babies, her 2nd Baby Alive (she put a fruit snack down her 1st one and it's plugged!), a double stroller, playpen, rocking chair....she's a great Mommy!

The girls also received a pink bow for Christmas.
(A portion of the proceeds from each bow sold go to breast cancer research). Malori, Brooklynn and Mom all take turns shooting it!
